A Practical & Versatile Garage Workspace

For what is perhaps the most extravagant display of garage cabinetry we’ve done, BoxMakers went all out on this beautiful Orewa home. With the owners desiring a capable, hardy, and versatile workshop space, our cabinet team got to work on our greatest shop space to date.

With white MDF being the core component of this arrangement, matching the walls, we built this unit around the themes of visibility and practicality. Being a broad wall-to-wall unit, this garage workspace is completely symmetrical. On opposite ends rest double-door tall cabinets, followed by a tall stack of adjustable shelves.

At the heart of the workspace, we gracefully implemented a quality benchtop slab, drizzled in light veins over a dark base, ready to take on heavy duty work. Behind, we installed dual mounting racks with overhead lights, ensuring perfect task lighting for visibility all through the day. Of course, more cabinets popular both above and below.

With so much space for tools, appliances, and storage, this garage workshop has limitless potential for any DIY enthusiast, hobbyist, or mechanic. With large bar-grip handles, deep cabinets, and not an inch wasted, this unit is a premier workshop space that is sure to win over the hearts and minds of those who love hands-on tasks.
