A Cool & Efficient Townhouse Kitchen
Sunnynook Kitchen
Making the most of its single wall + island layout, this straightforward townhouse kitchen offers a direct and easygoing impression with surprisingly plenty to discover!
The last of the kitchens we put together as part of our Sunnynook homes, this clean, ground floor setup is built for cleanliness and straightforwardness.
Make to be incredibly easy to use and navigate, the kitchen fully owns its single-wall + island layout, maximising both space and user efficiency!
We used Quarter Thordon Cream for the face panels, again matched with Aged Ash Organic, only this time as a simple guest appearance. The woodgrain only makes itself seen around the island, atop the base units, and in the overhead shelving, serving as a sweet accent detail rather than a primary pattern.
Beautiful dual glass panels adorn the upper cabinet shelves, carefully finished with tinting and black trim – just enough to obscure any messy items, while leaving the other open shelves free to flaunt their displays. This Nova Interior product adds elegance and nuance.
Conveniently positioned beside the staircase and outdoor decking, this easy-access kitchen acts as a connection point between different parts of the home.
Also featuring a pull-out bin and pull-out storage options from Fit NZ and Häfele respectively, this kitchen offers far more space than meets the eye.
Featuring carefully reserved spaces for the over, microwave, fridge, and more, we’re making sure we get perfect fits for as much space efficiency as possible, making for a satisfying, ‘complete’ look that doesn’t leave major gaps. Of course, all the power points have been thoughtfully implemented too, ensuring hidden cable management and plenty of juice for countertop appliances.
For this medium density household, we delivered a full-spec kitchen that leverages smart storage and ingenuity to rival much larger homes.
