THE WOOD
Boxmakers Canterbury takes pride in only using
untreated pine from sustainable forests
for all wooden boxes and crates.
The pine is dry and lightweight making it
perfect for packaging items and gift hampers.
THE WORKSHOP
The good old-fashioned rural Kiwi workshop
produces plenty of wooden box
creations everyday.
The workshop generates its own electricity as
it's fully solar-powered. Visitors
are most welcome.
THE ENVIROMENT
We care about the enviroment so every
by-product of the manufacturing process
is re-used.
- The timber off-cuts are processed for kindling
- The sawdust and shavings makes great
chook bedding and is also used for cat and
dog litter boxes, along with being a perfect
mulch for plants and trees
